Every now and then i like to take a break from hardcore rap and listen to some R&B. My favorite R&B album of last year (and most of this year) was John Legend Get Lifted
but i might have a new one. I don't know how many people ever heard of Trey Songz but he's a new R&B cat on the scene. And i was listen to hot 97 morning show w/ ms. jones and they was bigging him up like he's dat dude right now so... imma check his album out and see how it is... i'll let all you hip hop dudes dat need a break from rap know how it is when i hear it... reyshizz in and out...

Post a Commentyea i think they give Trey Songz A LOT of hype, and he only came out wit one song. I mean, I like "Gotta Make It", but thatz his only record so far. Don't act like he's like the next R.Kelly or sumthin. On the other hand, what happened to the John Legend hype, when he was all people would talk about. He is so talented and I think people have already forgotten about him. He's like a breath of fresh air and not enough R&B singers are like that today. Look at Usher, who thinks he's the s**t. Yeah, Usher's an alright singer for this generation, but back in the day in like the 70s, buddy would've never lasted. It's the exact same thing in the rap industry, too. Run DMC and N.W.A.....it's a damn shame that most rappers nowadays can't even compare. I am truly dissapointed at what music has become.
